ALBANY, NY- Amidst a mass trimming of U.S. government spending and job positions, those federal employees, who recently have been cut from their jobs, are being welcomed with open arms into New York State’s workforce.

Governor Kathy Hochul has just launched a new “You’re Hired” campaign, aimed at recruiting public sector employees, who have lost their jobs from the ongoing DOGE gut-out.

“The federal government might say, ‘You’re fired,’ but here in New York, we say, ‘You’re hired.’ In fact, we love federal workers,” the Governor said.

“Careers in public service offer stability, competitive pay, great benefits and a chance to make a difference in the lives of your fellow New Yorkers,” said New York’s Labor Commissioner, Roberta Reardon.
