Tow Bar Cat Mistle tow

OLD FORGE- It was a Christmas miracle! Literally… the Calico cat, which was allegedly abandoned in a plastic tote behind the Tow Bar, has been found after a brief escape.

As it was reported last-week, authorities with the Town of Webb Police Department arrested and formally charged Alicia Ortiz-Youngs, 24, of Utica, NY for misdemeanor abandonment of animals.

Police say she allegedly left the cat in a plastic tote behind the Tow Bar on Sunday, December 17.

When employees there discovered the cat, she managed to escape when brought inside.

If things couldn’t get any worse, the cat managed to slip through a tiny crawl space and venture outside.

Fortunately, the folks from Tow Bar set up a few catch traps and at just after midnight on Christmas, she was found safe and sound, according to a post on social media.

“It’s a Christmas Miracle,” the Tow Bar said on Facebook.

It’s reported that the Tow Bar has reached out to a local vet for examination. “Definitely pregnant,” the Tow Bar mentioned in their post.

“She’s young, cuddly and friendly!”

For the time being, Tow Bar has decided to name the cat “Mistle-tow.”
