ROME- A dispute over a parking space earlier this winter at an area retail outlet has resulted in the arrest of a local woman.
It was on New Year’s Eve when Oneida County Sheriff’s Deputies were called out to the Rome Walmart to investigate a criminal mischief complaint, where they learned a victim’s vehicle had been damaged during a fuss over a parking space.
As the investigation went on, police soon determined the total damages on the victim’s vehicle rang up to nearly $6,800.
On Tuesday, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested and charged Samara Estradasaenz, 45, of Rome, NY with one felony count of criminal mischief in the second-degree.
At press time, police said that Estradasaenz was processed to await a subsequent arraignment.
