Turin – Teresa Ann Croneiser, 61, lifelong resident of Turin, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 2, 2024. 

Teresa was born on May 25, 1963 in Turin, a daughter of William D. and Patricia C. Hoffman Jackson.  She received her education at South Lewis Central School, graduating with the Class of 1981.  On May 18, 1985, Teresa was united in marriage with William C. Croneiser at St. Martin’s Church, Port Leyden.

For several years Teresa was employed at Agway in Lyons Falls.  She then began employment with the Lewis County Office for the Aging, and most recently was a clerk at the Lewis County Dept. of Motor Vehicles, Lowville.

Teresa is survived by her children: Brett (Laura) Croneiser, West Leyden, Richelle Croneiser (Thomas Freeman), Glenfield, and Lindsey (Nicholas) Kenealy, Port Leyden, her grandchildren: who lovingly called her “Nana”, and sisters: Kathleen Jackson, Culpepper, VA, and Lori (Robert) Hastwell, Boonville.  She was predeceased by her parents William and Patricia and her beloved beagle Bruiser James

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where Deacon James Chaufty of the South Lewis Catholic Parishes will officiate.  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Turin Volunteer Fire Co., North Main Street, Turin, NY 13473, or to Lewis County Humane Society, P.O. Box #682, Lowville, NY 13367.
